Dr Sarah Drake qualified in Medicine from the University of Manchester in 2011. As part of her undergraduate training, she completed an intercalated BSc in Pathology between her third and fourth years of medical school.
Following graduation, Dr Drake moved to West Yorkshire, where she undertook both her Foundation Training and specialist training in Microbiology. During her training, she completed a 12-month Clinical Leadership Fellowship at Leeds Teaching Hospitals as an out-of-programme experience, further developing her leadership and management skills alongside her clinical expertise.
In 2022, upon completion of her specialist training, Dr Drake was appointed as a Consultant Microbiologist at 51ÁÔÆæ.
