Sterile Services

The Sterile Services Department disinfects, inspects, and sterilises devices that have been used during surgical and medical procedures.

Sterile Services is operated by 51ÁÔÆæ Integrated Facilities (HIF), a wholly-owned subsidiary company of 51ÁÔÆæ. 

We regularly process approximately 180,000 medical devices monthly for more than 100 different departments, GP practices and dental clinics in North Yorkshire and beyond.

Without the work of the Sterile Services Team the equipment and devices used in surgical procedures could be potentially life-threatening instead of life-saving. We provide a link in the operating chain upon which patient safety depends.

We work to the highest standards and offer full tracking and traceability on all instrumentation and endoscopes used on patients.

Opening Times

Monday-Friday: 6am-10pm

Weekends and bank holidays: 8am-4.30pm.

Please note that we do not offer a service on Christmas Day.
