Live Streaming Portfolio
In order for us to be able to provide you with an accurate quote, we need to know the following four things.
Step 1: What do you want the viewers to see?
Will you need one camera to cover the event or would you like multiple cameras mixed with graphics and other features?
Option 1 - Single Cam
One single camera operator will operate the camera and audio source. This does not include any graphics or music.
Option 2 - Mixed Production
A minimum of two cameras and a maximum of eight can be mixed with graphics, videos, sponsorship placements and laptop screen presentation.
Step 2: How will we connect to the internet?
Option 1 - Venue Provides Connection
Our preferred method is that the event venue provides a internet connection. This cannot be on a shared network or over WiFi. You will need to confirm the upload speed at the venue with their IT department.
Option 2 - PD Creative Provides Connection
If the venue is unable to provide a connection we can broadcast over 4G if a reliable signal is available. Data costs will apply.
Step 3: Where will viewers watch your live stream?
Option 1 - YouTube
YouTube is very popular as it’s free and provides many simple user options. The broadcast can be public or private. We can live stream to your account or ours if you don't have one. YouTube runs software in the background of all live streams to detect copyrighted music. If your event will have music, we wouldn't recommend this option.
Option 2 - Facebook Live
Facebook is the most popular broadcast destination to stream to but it does have limitations. You can currently only broadcast for up to 240 minutes and at a limited quality. We would need full access to the streaming Facebook account. As with YouTube, there is copyright detection software running in the background.
Option 3 - Vimeo & Other CDN
There are other options and places to broadcast to like Vimeo and these don't have any music copyright restrictions. However these are a "charged for" service. These can also be used if the broadcast has to be encrypted and/or charged for.
Step 4: How will we capture audio?
Option 1 - Venue Supplied
Most of our live streams are staged in locations where the venue either have an in-house AV team or they bring in a sound company. In this instance, we can liaise with this company to ensure they can meet our requirements. If you also require a Public Address system for the room this will be the cheapest option for you.
Option 2 - PD Creative Supply Audio
If the venue cannot meet your sound requirements or you don't need a PA system as the room is very small then we can handle the audio. We will need to know how many people will require a microphone at any one time and what type of microphones you require.
Please fill out the form below with details above relating to your event and we will get back to you with a quote.
Alternatively, just leave your phone number in the form and we will call you to discuss.
